Interview with Marianne Trächslin, Managing Director of Edelstai-Lädeli
What makes you especially proud to be the managing director of Edelstai-Lädeli?
That I manage my Edelstai-Lädeli successfully. And, that I have many extremely satisfied customers. My great passion is to advise my customers comprehensively and honestly.
What makes your stones extraordinary?
They are stones that come from different countries. In addition, the authenticity, the beauty and the healing effects.
What does the first hour of your day look like?
I complete or change my creative presentation of gemstones and healing stones. At the same time, I am looking forward to the arriving customers.
What other services do you offer?
I manufacture new necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Each necklace is unique. We also carry out custom-made products. Besides that, changes and repairs belong to my daily activities.
What do the future plans of your shop look like?
I would like to carry on serving a satisfied clientele with much pleasure. Furthermore, I’d like to keep enriching the inner city of Basel with my Edelstai-Lädeli.

Edelstai-Lädeli GmbH is a family-owned business managed by Marianne Trächslin and was put back into operation in 2017. The shop is located in the old town at Schneidergasse 8 in Basel and specialises in jewellery, healing stones, repairs and custom-made products.
